NYRS 2022 Annual Meeting

Please join us at this meeting sponsored by the New York Roentgen Society (NYRS) this September 28-30, 2022. Our exciting program includes an opening day held at the Zuckerman Auditorium at Memorial Sloan Kettering in the Upper East Side, with live in person case-based talks focused on pearls and pitfalls for clinical practice and quizzes across multiple subspecialities that will also be livestreamed. This will be followed by two fully virtual days , with the familiar half day subspeciality sessions and live virtual question and answer to follow, with our esteemed faculty moderators and speakers.

This in-person event is for fully vaccinated only. You will be asked to RSVP for the New York Roentgen Society Award and Mentoring Cocktail Event during the registration process. This cocktail and hors d'oeuvre reception is included with your conference registration.

The NYRS is pleased to announce that Dr. Peter Kim Nelson will be awarded the Distinguished Radiologist Award for 2022 by the NYRS. Dr. Nelson is a Professor in the Departments of Radiology and Neurosurgery in the New York University School of Medicine. He is the Chief of the Bernard and Irene Schwartz Interventional Neuroradiology Section within the NYU Langone Health system. Dr. Nelson’s specialties include the neuroimaging and interventional treatment of cerebrovascular disorders, brain aneurysms, arteriovenous fistulae, arteriovenous malformations, vascular malformations, ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, carotid stenosis, arteriosclerosis, atherosclerosis, and cerebral venous disease. He is a recognized expert in Neurointerventional radiology, having received the Neurointerventional Pioneering Award, Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology and the Innovation Award from the American Heart Association.
